MARGARITO "MAGUE" FARIAS
ALAMO - Margarito "Mague" Farias, 69, died January 1, 2010 at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Farias was born in Alamo and had lived there all of his life. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leopoldo and Guadalupe Farias; and a sister, Celia Farias.
Mr. Farias is survived by his wife, Juana M. Farias; a daughter, Michelle Farias, both of Alamo; two brothers, Gilberto (Maryann) Farias of Teague, Texas, Leopoldo (Beatriz) Farias, Jr. of Donna; three sisters, Silfida (Juan) Gutierrez of Alamo, Elia (Jose) Vasquez of Detroit, Michigan and Odilia Farias Milton of Fairfield, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces.
We would like to thank Dr. Mercado, Dr. Gomez, other doctors and the nurses at Rio Grande Regional Hospital and Solara Hospital who cared for our husband and father.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, January 3, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2010 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
