EDINBURG – Miguel Farias, 79, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at his residence.
Born in Garciasville, TX, Mr. Farias had lived in Edinburg for the past 65 years.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Crispin Farias.
Mr. Farias is survived by his wife, Isidora Farias; a son, Miguel A. (Angela) Farias of Edinburg; a daughter, Tammy R. (Derek) Leupen of Lewisville; eight grandchildren, Dillon (Tamme) Farias, Jesse Farias, Austin Farias, Bryan Farias, Charles Leupen, Dennis Leupen, Kristen Leupen and Megan Leupen; and three siblings, Lucia Gomez, Modesta Gonzalez and Anastacio Farias.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
