FELIPE TREVINO JR.

EDINBURG- Felipe Treviño Jr., 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at DHR Health Hospice Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Eulalia “Lala” Treviño; and his parents, Felipe and Maria Guadalupe Treviño.

Felipe is survived by twelve siblings, Pedro Treviño, Anita Salas, Ruben Treviño, Gloria De La Cruz, Celia Canales, Homero Treviño, Estela Garcia, Rene Treviño, Ninfa Garcia, Yolanda Maldonado, Sulema Treviño, Roy Treviño; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Felipe worked for All Valley Plumbing & A/C for over 30 years. He had a deep passion for music and played the accordion with the group Los Costeños del Valle, which his father had originally started in 1938. Felipe lived life to the fullest. He loved his wife of 34 years deeply and although they never had any children, they considered their nieces and nephews as their own.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary ,Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
