Antonia G. Flores

ANTONIA G. FLORES McALLEN – Antonia G. Flores, 94, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at San Juan Nursing Home. Born in McAllen, she lived in McAllen most of her life. Mrs. Flores was a member of the Archicofradia at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Jesus Flores; three children, Pat Gonzalez, Esther Flores, and Jesus Jose Flores; two sons-in-law, Rey Ramirez, Jr., Jesus P. Gonzales; and a brother, Jose C. Gonzalez. Mrs. Flores is survived by eight daughters; three sons; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of: San Juan Nursing Home, Rainbow Adult Day Care, Dr. Mercado and Legacy Hospice. A rosary was held Friday, June 13, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., today June 14, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
