EDINBURG - Edgar Wilfredo Flores, 17, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Edgar had lived there all of his life. He was involved in baseball and football at Economedes High School in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Flores.
Edgar is survived by his mother, Claudia (Isidro) Reyna of Edinburg; four sisters and three brothers; his grandmother, Maria A. Arratia of Victoria, Mexico; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, July 24, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
