MARIA ELENA FLORES
EDINBURG – Maria Elena Flores, 61, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at her residence Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Flores had lived there all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rosendo “Tito” Flores; her mother, Delfina Garcia Solis and a brother, Rodolfo Solis Jr.
Mrs. Flores is survived by her son, Rolando (DeeDee) Flores; two grandchildren, Brandee Flores and Rolando Flores Jr.; her father, Rodolfo Solis Sr.; a sister, Anita S. Castilleja and a brother, Homero Solis Jr. all of Edinburg.
A rosary was held Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, August 6, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
A special thanks to all the Dr’s and nurses who helped care for Mrs. Flores and supporterd her family.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
