RAMON A. FLORES
PHARR - Ramon A. Flores, 55, died on Friday, May 28, 2010, at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico, Mr. Flores had lived in Pharr all of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Mr. Flores was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Flores.
Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Maria E. Flores; three sons, Juan Miguel (Disa) Flores, Ezequiel Flores and Cristopher Ray Flores all of Pharr; a granddaughter, Helena Lizette Flores of Alamo; his mother, Maria Del Pilar Flores of McAllen; four brothers, Roberto Flores and Ricardo (San Juanita) Flores both of McAllen, Baldemar Flores and Guadalupe Flores both of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Rosa Morales of McAllen, Alma Trevino of Austin, Texas and Maria Del Carmen (Ricardo) Rios of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, May 31, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Military honors will be held by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
