Rodrigo R. "Moore" Flores

RODRIGO R. “MOORE” FLORES PHARR — Rodrigo R. “Moore” Flores, 73, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, at LifeCare Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Flores was born in Pharr and lived there all of his life. He was a graduate from PSJA High School, graduated from University of Texas Pan American and was employed as a math teacher at McAllen ISD for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Manuela Flores. Rodrigo is survived by his wife, Maria D. Flores of Pharr; four children, Luis Singleterry of Pharr, Rigo Flores, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Maritza Guzman and Cynthia Y. Flores both of Pharr; five grandchildren, Kristopher Guzman, Darren Guzman, Nayeli Flores, Genesis Flores-Homuth and Liv Flores; three brothers, Alfonso Flores, Jr. of McAllen, Ruben Flores of Pharr and J.R. “Bobby” Flores of McAllen; and a sister, Flora Echeverria of Pharr. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today, May 30, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
