Filiberto "Fili" Florez

FILIBERTO FLOREZ EDINBURG - Filiberto “Fili” Florez, 61, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg. Mr. Florez was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Teresa L. Florez; and a brother, Flavio Florez. Mr. Florez is survived by his wife, Hilda Florez, of Edinburg; a daughter, Gabriela (Pedro) Rivera, of Valle Hermoso, Tamps., Mexico; three grandchildren, Pedrito, Alfredo and Mateo Rivera; seven siblings, Fernando Florez, Felix Florez, Fausto Florez, Fidel Florez, Edna Vela, Teresa Florez, Elvira Grajales; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service Monday, January 20, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
