Flavio Florez Sr.

FLAVIO FLOREZ, SR. EDINBURG - Flavio Florez Sr., 70, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lopeno, Texas and had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Teresa L. Florez. Flavio Florez Sr. is survived by his wife, Maria D. Florez, of Edinburg; three children, Yvonne Florez, Fernando Florez, both of Edinburg, Flavio (Graciela) Florez, of LeMoore, California; four grandchildren; five brothers, Fernando Florez, of Fort Worth, Felix Florez, of Houston, Fausto Florez, of Mercedes, Fidel Florez, Filiberto Florez, both of Edinburg; and three sisters, Edna Vela, of Elsa, Teresa Florez, Elvira Grajales, both of McAllen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 5, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
