SIMONA FUENTES
SAN CARLOS – Simona Fuentes, 47, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg on August 1, 1963, Mrs. Fuentes had lived in San Carlos all of her life and was a member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aciano and Elena Munoz; a brother, Javier Munoz; and her lifetime pet companion, Synmon "Roo" Annie.
Mrs. Fuentes is survived by her husband, Eliud B. Fuentes of San Carlos; a daughter, Lizette Christine Fuentes of San Juan; two sisters, Nora Garcia of San Carlos, Maribell (Larry Leal) Martinez of Edinburg; her in-laws, Abraham and Elizabeth Fuentes of Pharr, two brothers-in-law, Deliminio (Marylou) Fuentes of Terrell, Texas, Abraham (Zinnia) Fuentes, Jr. of Laredo, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Ilana Munoz of Corpus Christi, Texas, Nelda (Edwardo Lopez) Fuentes of Pharr; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; her two beloved dogs, Pecas Red and Miss Dora.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, December 3, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday, December 4, 2010, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
