GLORIA GAMEZ SAN JUAN – Gloria Gamez, 61, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, in San Juan. She had lived in San Juan since 1994 and was formerly of Pharr. She was a member of Templo Emanuel in Alamo. Mrs. Gamez is survived by three children, Gloria (Mario) Castellano, Audi (Trini) Gamez, Ivan Diaz, all of San Juan; four grandchildren, Abigail Diaz, Faith Gamez, Valerie Castellano, Vivian Castellano; her mother, Manuela Macias; three sisters, Isabel Ramirez, Juanita Ramirez, Rosario Rodriguez; and a brother, Raul Rodriguez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, December 12, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
