Baldomero Garces

BALDOMERO "NELO" GARCES EDINBURG - Baldomero "Nelo" Garces, 87, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at his residence in Edinburg. Mr. Garces had lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters. Baldomero is survived by his wife, Olga Garces; nine children, Lucinda Arrellano, Tomas Garces, Baldomero (Juanita) Garces, Jr., Leonel Garces, Irene (Ruben) Amador, Eliseo (Jackie) Garces, Estela (Eduardo) Ortiz, Carlos (Miriam) Garces, and Milagros Cavazos; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, December 5, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral arrangement are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
