CHRISTOBAL GARCES SR.
EDINBURG – Christobal Garces Sr., 83, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Graciana Garces; brother, Guadalupe Garces Sr.; and sister-in-law, Maria Ernestina Garces.
Mr. Garces is survived by his wife, Josefa Garces; three children, Maribel (Ruben) Rodriguez, Christobal (Lupita) Garces Jr., Daniel (Crystal) Garces; four grandchildren, Reuben, Ivan, Chris III, Alejandro; one great-grandchild, Reuben Jr.; and sister, Teodora Garces.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
