ALÁN A. GARCIA EDINBURG — Alán A. Garcia, 25, passed away, Saturday, April 11, 2015. Alàn was born in Edinburg. He graduated from UTPA and worked with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office. He was member of El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church in Edinburg. Alán enjoyed sports and loved working out. He especially loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad. He is survived by his parents, Juan A. Garcia and Eunice, of Edinburg; a brother, Juan A. Garcia Jr., of McAllen; a sister, Celina Anderson, of Colorado; maternal grandmother, Esperanza Ramirez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, April 14, 2015, at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
