EDINBURG – America Garcia, 74, died Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gustavo and Antonia Luna; and three siblings, Gloria Rodriguez, Gonzalo Luna and Dr. Jesus Luna.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband, Adan Garcia of Edinburg; four children, Maria Alicia (+Raymond) Aguilar of Edinburg, Ramiro Garcia of Austin, Rogelio Garcia of Edinburg, Adan (Corina) Garcia of Austin; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and seven siblings, Gumaro (Isabel) Luna, Zulema (Anselmo) Garcia, Ricardo (Teresa) Luna, Oscar (Sylvia ) Luna, Maria (Santos) Ramirez, Romeo Luna and Lucia (+Gilberto) Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, October 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
