CONSTANCIA GARCIA EDINBURG - Constancia Garcia, 83, died Friday, August 10, 2012, at her residence in Edinburg. Mrs. Garcia was born in Weslaco and had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She was a member of Iglesia Apostolica in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Garcia; a grandson, Victor Hugo Garcia; four brothers; and two sisters. Mrs. Garcia is survived by eight children, Sylvia (Fernando) De La Rosa, Saul (Sylvia) Garcia, Hugo (Eva) Garcia, Sonia Morin, Pedro (Yolanda) Garcia Jr., Susana (Victor) Casas, Anna Lilia Garcia, all of Edinburg, Velia (Craig) Landry, of Austin; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, August 12, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. The Garcia family would like to thank their friends and relatives for their prayers and support.
