FRANCISCO GARCIA, JR.

ALAMO - Francisco Garcia Jr., 69, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at McAllen Medical Center.

He was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico and had lived in Alamo most of his life.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Teresa Garcia; ten children, Reynaldo (Alicia) Garcia, Rosa Elia (Noel) Martinez, Araceli (Rolando) Rodriguez, Martin Garcia, Sara Garcia, Maria (Alejandro) Sanchez, Donicio (Myrna) Garcia, Ricardo (Melissa) Garcia, Marisol (Jesus Salvador Villasenor) Garcia and Zulma Karina (Efrain) Pacheco; 36 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosario Costeida and Soledad Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service today, December 8, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
