GILBERTO B. GARCIA
McALLEN – Gilberto B. Garcia, 86, entered eternal rest Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mr. Garcia was born in Reynosa and lived in McAllen most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Garcia; and two sons, Xavier Garcia and Pedro Chico.
Gilberto is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Pedro) Garcia of McAllen; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Homero Garcia of Monterrey; and a sister, Evelia Garcia of Reynosa.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
