ISABEL D. GARCIA SAN JUAN – Isabel D. Garcia, 90, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Life Care Hospital in McAllen. Born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andres Garcia Salazar; a daughter, Elodia Cruz; her mother, Maria Sandoval; and her father, Demetrio Diaz. Mrs. Garcia is survived by nine children, Eva (Manuel) Luna, of Monterrey, Juan Garcia, Juanita (Victor) Cruz, Andres (Maria) Garcia Jr., Antonio Garcia, all of San Juan, Estela (Jesse†) Zepeda, of McAllen, Isabel Trevino, of +Indiana, Enrique (Misty) Garcia, of Ohio, Pedro (Lucy) Garcia, of Dallas; 42 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, November 26, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
