JAIME DAVID GARCIA EDINBURG - Jaime David Garcia, 40, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. We would like to give thanks to Educare Facility, Mariposa Home, Valley Baptist 5th floor staff, especially Esperanza, Margarita, Esmer, Nesa Caldwell, Danny, Cherly, Herrietta Paynado and everyone who patiently took care of Jaime. Jaime is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Garcia Jr.; a sister, Alice Garcia; Paternal grandparents, Jesus and Enriqueta Garcia; Maternal grandparents, Ruben and Josefina Santa Maria. He is survived by his mother Aida Garcia; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Garcia both of Edinburg; a brother, Jesus "J.J" (Rosanna) Garcia of Rosewell, Georgia; five nephews, Victor, Alex, Bella, Bea and Daniel; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 5, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will follow. Graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. February 7, 2013, at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Ernie Evans, Jr., Chris Diaz, Jack Sparkman, Steven Hopper, Juan Perez and Claudio Lopez. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
