Joaquin Garcia

Joaquin Garcia, 95, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at his residence in San Juan.
Born in Mexico, Mr. Garcia had lived in San Juan most of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Raquel Garcia; three daughters, San Juanita Garcia, Ester Torres, Guadalupe Enriquez; a son, Joaquin Garcia Jr.; and a grandson, Alfredo Torres Jr.
Mr. Garcia is survived by six children, Eva (Lucio) Delgadillo, Aida (Jose) Garcia, Jubenal Garcia, Blanca (Juan) Huerta, Rolando Garcia, Jesus (Margie) Garcia; 30 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; two sons in law, Alfredo Torres, Juan Enriquez; and a daughter in law, Bertha Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
