SAN JUAN - Juan Jose Garcia, 23, died Sunday, November, 14, 2010 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Victoria, Texas, Juan had lived in San Juan all of his life and was a member of Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva in San Juan.
Juan is survived by his wife, Olga Romo; his parents Jose and Lorenza Garcia; two sisters, Rocio Garcia and Natalia Garcia, all of San Juan; his in-laws Jaime and Olga Romo; two sisters-in-law, Aide (Gilbert) Bustamante, Estrella Romo, all of Pharr; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 9 pm, today, November 16, 2010 and from 11 am to 9 pm with a 7 pm prayer service, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Jorge Diaz De Leon, Carlos Jerez, Ricardo Zuniga, Moises Jaramillo, Jose Santiago Jaramillo, and Fred Jaramillo. Honorary pallbearer will be Gabriel Jaramillo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
