LUBBOCK, TX/SAN JUAN - Juanita Damiana Garcia, 67, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
She was born in San Juan and had lived in Lubbock since 1990.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by five sons, Jose Luis Garcia, Jr., Mario Adan Garcia, Rogelio Isabel Garcia, Marco Antonio Garcia, David Allan Garcia; a daughter, Maria Eva Garcia, all of Lubbock, Texas; 18 grandchildren; six brothers, Florentino Hernandez, Juan Antonio Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Gilberto Hernandez, all of San Juan, Arcadio Hernandez of Lorenzo, Texas; and three sisters, Victoria Vargas, Guadalupe Martinez and Martina Hernandez, all of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, March 17, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Friday, March 18, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
