Maria Elena Garcia, 75, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Adela Reyes; parents, Juan and Alicia Garcia; a sister, Graciela De Leon; a brother, Javier Obidio Garcia; and her former spouse, Raul T. Reyes.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by three children, Rodrigo (Josie H.) Reyes, Raquel Reyes (Francisco Javier) Cavazos, Raul Reyes Jr.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Alicia Reyes.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary today, March 8, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
