EDINBURG - Mario Garcia, 46, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
He was born in Edinburg to Manuel Garcia Jr and Olga Silva Garcia.
Mr. Garcia was a family oriented man who enjoyed being there for his kids, activities and was passionate for helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; Manuel Garcia Jr.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Orpha Garcia; his children, Aziel Josiah Garcia, Kyra Yaeli Garcia, Elian Zelek Garcia; his mother, Olga Silva Garcia; his sister, Cindy Garcia Ibarra; and his niece Karen Arlette Ibarra.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, February 22, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Baptist Temple Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Pallbearers will be Aziel Garcia, Elian Garcia, Alex Rios, Jeu Sauceda, Jorge Salinas, Freddy Garcia, Abdiel Garcia and Orlando Zamora.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
