MIGUEL GARCIA SAN JUAN – Miguel Garcia, 76, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at his residence in San Juan. Born in La Casita, Texas, he had lived in San Juan most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarito and Julia Garcia; and a brother, Jose Eli Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Maria Antonia Garcia of San Juan; two sons, Raul Garcia, and Rolando (Brenda Silva) Garcia, both of San Juan; two daughters, Maricela Garcia of San Juan, and Belinda (Joel) Castro, of McAllen; eight grandchildren, Miranda, Michael Anthony, Jacob Lee, Isa Bella, Gael Orimar, Javier Esteban, Jason Mathew, and Alfonso Samuel; three brothers, Homero Garcia of Hidalgo, Pedro Garcia, SR. of Linn, and Jorge Garcia of Laredo; two sisters, Sylvia Garcia of La Reforma, and Nilda Scrivner of Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at La Reforma Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
