PHARR - Minerva "Miny" Soto Garcia, 60, died, April 15, 2011, at her residence in Pharr.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Linares, Mexico and had lived in Pharr all of her life and was a member of La Trinidad Methodist Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito and Dolores Soto; a brother, Oscar Soto.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband, Juan Manuel Garcia of Pharr; four children, Juan Jose Garcia, Anthony Angel Garcia, Ruby Ann Garcia all of Pharr, Rogelio Soto Garcia of San Juan; five grandchildren, Kendall Amethyst Brianna Garcia, Sarah Elizabeth Garcia, Carmen Savannah Garcia, Samuel Rosales, Angelina Cristine Garcia; five siblings, Maria Anita Garza of Alamo, Antonio Soto of California, Elvia Montemayor of Washington, Hipolito Soto, Jr. of Pharr, Clemente Soto of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, April 18, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at La Trinidad United Methodist Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. "May she rest in peace"
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
