NOE A. GARCIA SAN JUAN – Noe A. Garcia, 72, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at his residence in San Juan. Born in Pharr, he resided in San Juan and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a wonderful devoted husband, father and grandfather whose laughter will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Manuela Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Lydia Garcia, of San Juan; three daughters, Zara Garcia, of California, Rachel (Allen) Burton, of Missouri, Amy (Jacob) Schneider, of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; and three sisters, Raquel Flores, of Houston, Virginia Hernandez, of Mercedes, Oralia Hinojosa, of El Paso. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
