OMER GARCIA, JR.
ALAMO - Omer Garcia, Jr., 54, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Garcia had lived in Alamo most of his life. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pharr and was employed by Charles Clark Chevrolet and Saturn of McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Omer Garcia, Sr.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Rosa Alba Garcia of Alamo; three children, Omer (Lisa) Garcia, III, Krystal L. (Jorge Herrera) Garcia, both of Alamo and Oscar A. (Crystal) Garcia of San Juan; four grandchildren, Erin, Jae Diego, Jade and Madyson; his mother, Consuelo Garcia of Pharr; and five brothers, Juan Garcia of Donna, Oscar Garcia, Danny Garcia, Christopher Garcia, all of Pharr and Ramiro Garcia of Katy, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service, today, September 12, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Monday, September 13, 2010 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
