EDINBURG – Pedro Garcia 82, died Saturday, September 10, 2016, at his residence in Edinburg.
He was born in San Marcos, TX, and lived in Edinburg most of his life.
Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his first wife, Socorro Garcia; parents, Jose Garcia and Juanita Palacios; and three brothers.
Pedro is survived by his wife, Oralia Garcia of Edinburg; a son, Juan Jose Garcia of Edinburg; stepchildren, Perla Salazar of Houston and Marco Antonio Salazar of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren; a sister, Rosa Silva of Edinburg, and a brother, Gregorio Garcia of California.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
