EDINBURG- Presentacion "Chon" Garcia, 89, passed away Sunday, Jun 6, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Silva Garcia.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his children, Dalia (Victor) Reyes of Edinburg, Baldemar (Nelly) Garcia of Mission, Rogelio (Ofelia) Garcia of Pearland, TX, Mario (Aida) Garcia of Edinburg, Reymundo Garcia of San Antonio, George (Ida) Garcia of Odem, TX, Sylvia (Joe) Hernandez of Weslaco, and Michael (Vanessa) Garcia of Edinburg; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Maria Garcia of Houston, Rosa Silva of Edinburg; a brother-in-law, Gilberto Silva of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
