Adela Garcia Reyes

Adela Garcia Reyes, 50, died Friday, October 20, 2017, at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Miss Reyes had lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raul T. Reyes; maternal grandparents, Alicia R. and Juan Garcia; and paternal grandparents, Amelia T. and Melquiades Reyes.
Adela is survived by her mother, Maria Elena Garcia; three siblings, Rodrigo (Josie) Reyes, Raquel Reyes (Francisco Javier) Cavazos, Raul Reyes Jr.; a cousin, Alma De Leon, all of Edinburg; nieces and nephews, Aly, Aaron, Ava, Melody, Frankie, Zasha, Jacob, Rebekah; and a grandniece, Riley.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, October 23, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
