SAN JUAN - Ricardo Garcia, 56, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at his residence in San Juan.
Mr. Garcia was born in Garciasville and had lived in San Juan since 1991. He was employed as an HVAC Technician for P-SJ-A Independent School District and retired after 20 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Luisa Garcia; his parents, Marin and Amparo Garcia; and two brothers, Marin Garcia Jr. and Arturo Garcia.
Mr. Garcia is survived by two daughters, Lorrina Garcia of San Juan. Letty (Arturo) Chavez, of Pharr; and two sisters, Rosie Saenz, of Mission and Alicia Garcia, of Hebbronville.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service, today, February 20, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1 pm Saturday, February 21, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
