Roel Garcia Jr.

Roel Garcia, Jr., 22, died Sunday, November 26, 2017, at his residence in San Juan.
Born in McAllen, he had lived in San Juan all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ramiro Silva; paternal grandparents, Jose E. and Isidora Garcia.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his mother, Dora A. (Sam) Sanchez of San Juan; father, Roel (Anna Martha) Garcia, Sr. of Pharr; two sisters, Felicia Garcia and Carissa Garcia, both of San Juan; a nephew, Israel Omar Viera; maternal grandmother, Lazara Silva of McAllen; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral service are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
