ADAN A. GARZA SR.
ALAMO - Adan A. Garza Sr., 71, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in Linn, Texas, Mr. Garza had lived in Alamo since 1995 and was formerly of Pharr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Abelino and Rosa Garza; a brother, Juan Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife of 50 years, Belia P. Garza; a son, Adan A. (Marilyn Medina) Garza Jr.; three granddaughters, Samantha J. Garza, Adamari Mia Garza, and Meagan Sky Garza, all of Alamo; and a sister, Maria Cristina Tijerina of Linn, TX.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 26, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
