ADRIAN “DEVIN” GARZA
EDINBURG/TEMPLE- Adrian “Devin” Garza, 39, went home to our Lord Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Born and raised in Edinburg, his adventure of living in different cities began in 1999. Adrian lived in San Antonio, Austin, Beaumont, and Temple. In high school he participated in football, cross country, track and graduated in 1998 from James “Nikki” Rowe High School. Adrian continued his education at the University of Texas Pan American, University of Texas of San Antonio, and San Antonio College, where he studied Business Management. He worked for many years as an agent for Progressive Insurance. Adrian enjoyed working out, traveling and spending quality time with his dogs, Angelo and Bella. Adrian was a kind and loving son, his charisma and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eliseo and Guadalupe De La Garza, Sr.; two aunts, Evelia Rodriguez, Guadalupe Lopez; and a cousin, Reyes Rodriguez, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Domingo and Maria Cruz Garza; uncle, Juan Garza; and aunt, Esperanza Garza.
He is survived by his companion, Sergio Hernandez of Temple; his mother, Mr. and Mrs. Blanca Rosa (Carlos) Garcia of Edinburg; his father, Mr. Aurelio Garza of Edinburg; maternal siblings, Juan Carlos Garcia, Ashley Nicole Garcia, both of Edinburg; numerous maternal family members; paternal siblings, Noelani Garza, Andrew Garza, Nathan Garza, all of McAllen; Mr. and Mrs. Sergio Hernandez, Sr. and family of Temple.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Friday, November 23, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
