AMALIA "MOLLY" GARZA LA BLANCA - Amalia S. Garza, 63, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX. Born in Edinburg Mrs. Garza had lived in La Blanca most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. She is preceded in death by her father, Luciano Sepulveda; and two brothers, Gabriel and Gilbert Sepulveda. Amalia is survived by her husband, Ramon J. Garza of La Blanca; three children, Melissa (Robert) Garcia, Isaac Gonzalez, Jr., Debbie (Rafael) Brambila, Jr., all of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, AJ, Jasmine, Matthew Garcia, Kathy, Gabriel, Christian Brambila; her mother, Matea Sepulveda of San Carlos; seven sisters, Tina, Sara (Jose), Carmen, Janie, Rosie (Richard),all of Edinburg, Mary (Lupe) of La Blanca, Hilda (Arnold) of Ft. Worth; a brother, Louie (Dora) of San Carlos; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, September 19, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home , 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
