SAN JUAN - Gabriel Garza, 54, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his residence in San Juan.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Garza was formerly of Grapevine, Texas, had lived in San Juan for six years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel C. Garza; and a brother, Fidel Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Becky Garza; five children,
Gabriellee, Jeremy, Jessica, Iris and Joey Garza; his mother, San Juana Vega; two stepchildren, Rebecca and Roberto Rodriguez; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Johnny, Andres, Manuel, Jr. and Ezequiel Garza; six sisters, Josefa Uvalde, Mary Ann Nerio, Yolanda Garza, Maria Luisa Garza, Reyna Garza, Socorro Vega; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, November 3, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 pm, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
