Israel N. Garza

ISRAEL N. GARZA EDINBURG – Israel N. Garza, 83, died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in El Capote Ranch, Mr. Garza had lived in the Rio Grande Valley most of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Aminta Medina Garza. Mr. Garza is survived by a son, Israel Garza, Jr. of Mission; two daughters, Sarah A. (Jaime) Parrales of Mission and Rose (Gerry) Sauceda of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Elodia Brown of Raymondville. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a 10 a.m. prayer service Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
