DONNA – Kassandra LeeAnn Garza, 22, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in McAllen, Kassandra had lived in Donna all of her life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Andres and Belia Garza; maternal grandparents, Josefina and Natividad Quintero; and an aunt, Alma B. Yzaguirre.
Kassandra is survived by her parents, Jesus and Josefina Garza; two sisters, Samantha Marie Garza, Jessika Alexis Garza, all of Donna; aunts and uncles, Odilia († Roberto) Ruiz Garza, Niceforo (Cristina) De La Garza, Martha Idalia Garza, Diamantina Belcher, Bernardo Garza, Mariela (Gerardo) Prado, Rafael (Yesica) Quintero, Maria Celia (Ricardo) Hernandez, Macario (Veronica) Quintero, Alma (Daniel) Lugo, Beto Yzaguirre; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday February 19, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Pallbearers will be Albert Garza, Rafael Leal, Omar Ruiz, Ricardo Hernandez Jr., Marco Lugo and Julian Quintero
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
