Leonor G. Garza

LEONOR G. GARZA ALAMO - Leonor G. Garza died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in Mission, Mrs. Garza had lived in Alamo all of her life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Celia Garza; a son, Guadalupe Garza Jr.; eight brothers and sisters; and her parents, Felicitos and Josefa Garibay. Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Guadalupe A. Garza, of Alamo; six children, Antonia (Guillermo) Sauceda, of Burley, Idaho, Rodolfo (San Juanita) Garza, of Boise, Idaho, Celia G. Garza, of Alamo, Ramiro (San Juanita) Garza, Alicia G. (Arturo) Garza, Ernesto G. (Juana) Garza, all of Glenns Ferry, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, November 16, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
