EDINBURG – Mary Garza, 54, died Monday, August 16, 2010, at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Texas, Mrs. Garza had lived in Edinburg all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leoandro and Marta Ramirez; and a brother, Jorge Garza.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Atanacio Garza; four children, Cindy Garza, Atanacio (Susana) Garza Jr., Robert (Dolly) Ramon and Amanda (David) Flores all of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; four brothers, Noe Ramon Jr., Joe Ramon, Raymundo Garza, Leoandro “Lito” Ramirez; two sisters, Marta E. Ramon and Evangelina Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. then 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, today, August 18, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Iglesia El Divino Pastor in Edinburg. Intrement will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
