MIGUEL R. GARZA
EDINBURG- Miguel R. Garza, 98, died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in General Teran, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Edinburg since 1989. Mr. Garza was a member of Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Garza; a daughter, Yolanda Gonzalez; daughter-in-law, Adalia Garza; son-in-law, Sabas Garcia; parents, Gorgonio and Basilia Garza; two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Garza is survived by three sons, Hector (Guadalupe) Garza, Homero Garza and Joel (Laura) Garza all of Edinburg; two daughters, Hilda Garcia and Minerva (Oziel) Salinas both of Edinburg; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Myriam Moreno of Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, December 27, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 3 pm Monday, December 28, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
