Miguel Roel "Mike " Garza

EDINBURG- Miguel Roel Garza, 71, went home to our Lord Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in San Manuel, TX, Mr. Garza had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Jesusa Lopez Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Evangelina Saldana Garza of Edinburg; seven children, Miguel Roel Garza Jr., Vanessa (Istran) Szelezsan of Edinburg, Richard (Yesenia) Alvarez of Miami, FL, Ray (Aracely) Alvarez, Juan (Irene) Reyes of McAllen, Jesus Reyes, Alvaro Reyes, both of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Felix (Estefana) Garza of Donna, Fidencio Garza, Andres Garza, both of Washington; two sisters, Maria Huerta, and Agustina Garza, of Grand Prairie, TX.
My last goodbye to my beloved husband, Miguel Garza. A good father, a good son and an incomparable grandfather - the best, loving, affectionate husband and the greatest friend. Big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Rest in peace, I will always remember you, you will be missed.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
