OLIVERIO "VIVE" GARZA
MCALLEN - Oliverio "Vive" Garza, 81, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Houston Methodist Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Beatriz Garza; and six siblings.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Dalia Garza of McAllen; seven children, Jerry (Blanca) Garza of McAllen, Andy (Irene) Garza of Mission, Melissa Garza of Edinburg, Michelle (Adrian Aramburo) Garza, Laura Garza, both of McAllen, Rebecca (Cesar) Reyes of San Antonio, Mark (Kamille) Garza of McAllen; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place 12 noon Friday, August 20, 2021, at Mother Cabrini Parish in Las Milpas. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
