OSCAR R. GARZA
ALAMO – Oscar R. Garza, 68, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at his residence in Alamo.
Mr. Garza was born in Pharr and lived in Alamo most of his life.
He preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Nora Garza; and a brother, Francisco Garza, Jr.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Maria R. Garza of Alamo; two sons, Oscar (Elizabeth) Garza, Jr. of Ganado, TX, Michael (Faviola) Garza of Cypress, TX; a daughter, Elda (Ricardo) Hernandez of San Juan; six grandchildren; a brother, Richard Garza; and a sister, Rosalinda Ramirez, both of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 25, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
