PHARR - Pablo E. Garza, 72, went home to our Lord on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Pablo was born in Taylor, Texas, and lived in Pharr most of his life. Pablo enjoyed outdoor recreational activities such as fishing, hunting, ranching, and barbecuing with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad Garza and Maria E. Garza; brother, Jose Garza; sister, Gloria Garza; brother-in-law, Nicolas Cancino; and sister-in-law, Yolanda Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his beloved Rose Marie Cooper; their two daughters, Virginia (Jose Jr.) Garza-Solis of Pharr, and Laura Denise (Enrique) Garza of McAllen; their son Paul (Patricia) Garza of Hidalgo; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Guadalupe Cancino, Mary G. Rodriguez, Julia (Javier) Jimenez, Graciela (Xavier) Rivera, Mary Helen (Alejandro) Montalvo; five brothers, Trinidad (Micaela) Garza Jr., Juan E. Garza, Jesse (Martha) Garza, Simon (Beth) Garza, and Eddie (Patricia) Garza; and 33 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and the Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
