RICARDO C. GARZA
PHARR – Ricardo C. Garza, 60, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Raul Garza.
Mr. Garza is survived by his wife of 37 years, San Juanita Garza of Pharr; two children, Ricardo (Diana) Garza, Jr. of Covington, Kentucky, Raul (Ruby Lopez) Garza of Pharr; his mother Concepcion Garza of Pharr; two brothers, Oscar (Araceli) Cantu of Alton, and Mario (Jay) Garza of Pharr; four sisters, Abigail (+Jacinto) Arizmendez, Sara (Antonio) Sanchez, Celia (Lucio) Gaitan, all of Pharr, Margie (Hector) Gonzalez of Mission; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday December 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 101 of Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
