Eubin "Cito" Gomez Jr.

EUBIN "CITO" GOMEZ, JR. EDINBURG - Eubin "Cito" Gomez, Jr., 25, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, in a tragic accident in McAllen. Eubin was born on November 21, 1987, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Eubin and Dalina Gomez, Sr. He was a graduate of Edinburg High School. Eubin worked for the United States Border Patrol as a field agent for six years and was a part of the Mobile Response Unit for one year. "Cito" was a kind hearted, fun, loving man who always left you with a smile on your face. He loved a good laugh, he loved to dance and sing. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rufino H. Cantu; and paternal grandfather, Ramon Perez. "Cito" is survived by his daughter, Victoria Lea Gomez of McAllen; parents, Eubin and Dalina Gomez, Sr. of Edinburg; a sister, Damaris (Kevin) Warren of Weslaco; former spouse, Dian Lea Gomez of McAllen; maternal grandmother, Nelda Cantu of Edinburg; and paternal grandmother, Lucia S. Perez of Donna. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9, with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 23, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
